My girlfriend is an AVID runner but has professed
interest in duatholon ..... maybe triathlon. I want to buy her some shorts for her birthday but not up on the clothing out there? Any advice on brands and styles to look at? |

For Duathlon, the most common short I see is a "tri short", which is basically a bike short made of a lighter material and with a lighter pad that accommodates running better (and swimming, though that doesn't matter in a Du). In Tris, The same type of short is very common, but you'll also see more shorts that are bikini-shaped. I'd have to depend on the ladies to step up and describe the advantages or disadvantages of each style, just thought I'd share my observations. |
