I've subscribed to MLB.TV in the past and am going to again once I can afford it. It's good because you can see lots of games not available on local TV, and can even watch the condensed game for your local team after it's over--or watch the full game on archive. It's bad because, sometimes, when you try to watch a game, they authorize $1 off your credit card to check your zipcode for blackout restrictions. They don't charge your card but the authorizations are annoying. Overall, if you can afford the $15 or $20 a month, I recommend it. |

But, if you're in Canada, they black out all Jays games (I'm in the US) while they're live. Quality is ok. I liked their "quick game summaries" last 2 years, but they seem to have changed them this year. Haven't had much of chance to use it this year year, and they do seem to be having some issues with the network streaming, as far as I can tell. But, I'll give it a few more days to see if it works itself out.. MH |

Here in Halifax, MLB, NFL and Center Ice are all rolled into a 26.00 per
month fee.....its not bad, especially right now where I can watch baseball and switch to hockey as they are playing both. It's a sports nuts dream if you don't mind just listening to games and the slight time delay. And it goes anywhere I do,the music selection etc is endless and good quality sound.I guess I am a throw back but I still enjoy JH's play by play and still miss God rest his soul Tom Cheek's voice."Touch em all Joe" still gets me weepy when I hear it. |

Sorry, my mistake. I was thinking you wanted this INSTEAD of satellite/cable coverage of the Jays. If you're looking for coverage of other games, it's pretty decent.. MH |

Does anybody else here think the early sweep of the RS was an aberration? The hitting absolutely sucks, watching MS try and hit jam shots is nice to look at, but when the only offence in the last few games has been MS and GZ base hits with ris would be much nicer imho. And does anybody think there is another sulking player on the team aka AR. hE has missed two games because of flu like symptoms or has he,or maybe he called jp a pimp or worse hope so. Then we have VW who sat on the bench last night, sipping his gatoraid while the DR's and jp's x plodding prize sporting his ws ring, give the jays a drubbing. I see Doc got another loss after pitching the entire game,I wonder if doc has ever pitched b to b complete game losses before?? I can see Doc asking for his xmas bonus early after the season if they tank again. jm$.02ofcourse |

WHO THE F*** IS "hE"?????????????????????
Now that I'm calmer, I think the whole team has tanked. It's going to be a very long season unless they get rid of both Gibbons and Ricciardi really quickly. <bushdoctor48@webtv.net> wrote in message news:2322-48102A25-131@storefull-3116.bay.webtv.net... > > Does anybody else here think the early > sweep of the RS was an aberration? > > The hitting absolutely sucks, watching MS > try and hit jam shots is nice to look at, > but when the only offence in the last few > games has been MS and GZ base hits > with ris would be much nicer imho. > > And does anybody think there is another > sulking player on the team aka AR. > > hE has missed two games because of > flu like symptoms or has he,or maybe > he called jp a pimp or worse hope so. > > Then we have VW who sat on the > bench last night, sipping his gatoraid > while the DR's and jp's x plodding > prize sporting his ws ring, give the > jays a drubbing. > > > I see Doc got another loss after pitching the entire game,I wonder > if > doc has ever pitched b to b complete > game losses before?? > > I can see Doc asking for his xmas bonus early after the season if > they > tank again. > > jm$.02ofcourse > |
