Why are all Giant week DAY games on TV and none of the A's are?

A's- 1st place, exiting young team full of prospects.

Giants- Last place, two good young pitchers and no hope.

Another few words: "Finley," who antagonized Bay Area broadcasting,
and "current ownership," which does nothing to change matters. I live
less than 100 miles from the Coliseum and cannot get a radio broadcast
here in Monterey.

The Giants are more exciting, playing the small ball that the A's
popularized. They play in a better stadium and they play in a better
part of the Bay Area. That and the fact that Sam is an idiot make the
whole thing academic.

You really don't know? It's simple. Nobody watches the A's, no matter if
they're good or bad. They have to resort to $2 Wednesday games and $1 hot
dogs to get fans to show up, and several years ago they couldn't even get
people to show up for their playoff games. We're talking *playoff games*!
That was pathetic.

Fans don't show up when you suck? Understandable. Fans don't show up when
you're good? That's just sad. And you don't even have the Eskimo Dome, aka
Candlestick, for excuse.
