Default Janice - a respected lady's view please

I was out last Thursday with my best mate, Boo(Shaun), and we went
into O'Neill's in Blackburn town centre
we were stood at the top end of the bar just after getting a pint when
a barmaid walked from the back room behind the bar to the bottom of
the bar and I just said to Shaun, "I like her!"

anyway, she was busy behind the bar, so I thought to wait until she
had a quiet moment to say something to her, but Shaun and I got
talking like we do as we have known each other since age 11, we sat
together at school, and
I noticed that the barmaid was looking at me with looks ranging from
delicate to venomous

anyway, there were a lot of women in the pub, some of them keeping an
eye on Shaun and I, and I was paranoid that everyone could see the
mutual attraction between the barmaid and me and they were expecting
me to do something, but she was always busy

at one time she served a woman at a pump near me and the woman had the
cheek to say, "Hardlines!" and nod towards me, which just made me
stand my ground as I don't get involved in mind games with sad people,
it was as though they all thought that I was homosexual, which abhors
me and should still be illegal

the pub got quieter and the barmaid got a quiet moment, so I got her
attention and asked her what time she finished, she told me, and I
asked if she fancied going to Jazzy Kex, a nightclub, with me but she
said she was going home to sleep as she was working all weekend, she
had her phone in her hand so I asked if she wanted to take my number,
but she said, "No!", and Shaun laughed heartily...Shaun has lived with
his girlfriend about 15 years and thinks he knows women!

I was just glad that she hadn't said she had a boyfriend, as she made
me forget about Katie Melua, and when I finished my pint, Shaun was
playing on the bandits, I just went over to her and said, "I'll see
you when you're not playing so hard to get!", and she replied,
"Alright!" and I left it at that...

if you remember a football player named Gary Ablet, I think he played
for Liverpool, that's who Shaun's girlfriend left for Shaun, and I'm a
10 times better catch than Shaun ;-)

I'm glad you care Janice ;-)
the only thing wrong with my life is that I've been in debt since age
19, and I don't yet have the money to raise a family...
hopefully, I can buck myself up enough now to get back the 100+
customers I used to have
and all you Spurs fan are welcome to the Internet Cafe that I am about
to set up at Romero cafe in Blackburn Town Centre, on Saturday 15th
April
there will be only be 1 or 2 terminals at that time, but I am sure
that some of you would rather enjoy yourselves on the Internet than
getting drunk in the afternoon

I was bored Janice with the original post, youtube videos were taking
too long to download, I just wanted to know whether you were still my
friend ;-)

soz, that date should be the 5th April when you play at Ewood Park
I look forward to meeting you all, there are no synagogues in
Blackburn
but as it says in Revelation, there is no temple in Paradise...
