What fun. Two very entertaining games. Bats are warming up.
Pitching is very solid. The gloves are still bad (outside of a couple
spectacular plays by Utley). And without the top of the lineup in
there. Good start to the road trip. And the matchup favors the Phils
tonight. Now we just need Charlie to play his better catcher and
things will really be looking up.

I love optimism; very refreshing, especially in this newsgroup.

Hey - they are above .500!

That is great news. I turned it off to watch the Flyers win in overtime,
but didn't finish.

And yes, Phillydude, stay optimistic. You might not live longer, but you
will definitely liver better.

And on a sad note: Microsoft is canceling support for Outlook Express,
which has served as both my mail client and my newsgroup reader. Well, it
still might work as my ng_reader, but no longer for my precious hotmail.

Sorry for going off topic. Must have been a good game to watch, sorry I
missed it. But, I have, at my count, 141 to go...

Just remember if Coste played every day, he wouldn't be nearly as
productive, as he says so.

You are right, it is nice to see them in mid season form so soon (for them).

I guess at Coste's age he is in the perfect situation, playing part time
catcher for the division winning Phillies.

Same here with Outlook Express. I guess I should start the mass exodus over
to Microsoft Outlook sooner rather than later.

I use XNews (http://www.download.com/Xnews/3000-2164_4-10026377.html)
for reading this and other newsgroups. For email, Thunderbird does all
right.

MS is ending *free* Hotmail desktop access using Outlook clients. It'll be
a pay-for service (you'll still be able to do it with a Hotmail Plus or an
MSN Premium account).

"Ximian's Connector software scrapes Exchange Server's WebDAV interface to
provide Office interoperability for its Linux desktop, so it's theoretically
possible that third party email clients will take up the onerous challenge.
It's just very unlikely that they'll see much reward in the task"
