Default Oliver Perez suddenly forgot how to pitch - why didn't Willie yankhim sooner?

It was obvious that Perez didn't have it today. Why didn't Willie
yank him as soon as he walked in a run? Granted, Castillo didn't help
with the error that would have gotten the Mets out of the inning.
Still, Perez has looked horrible lately.

Now we go out west - as Bob Murphy used to say: the Mets have 9 miles
of bad road in front of them!

Somebody on this team better start stretching out the innings...

I wonder if he'll be devastated or disappointed?

I was thinking as soon as they announced that delay of the start if it would
affect Oliver. I love him but he seems to be overly sensitive to these
types of things. Seriously, are there psychiatrists/psychologists who work
with atheletes? I think he could use a few sessions.
