Default Vicente (Pop) Padilla

The Twins managed to get a runner to second base today but that was
about it. They did have 7 hits but got shut out by future hall of
famer Vicente (Pop) Padilla.

Their offense remains 2nd to last in run production in the AL with 95
runs in 24 games, 18 runs behind the league average of 113 runs
scored. The Twins, led by lead off hitter Carlos Gomez, have the
league worst OBA of .302.

Livan Hernandez continues with his Ramon Ortiz impression, pitching 2
2/3 innings and being charged with 7 runs, including 2 HRs. Milton
Bradley's 3 run dinger in the 1st inning was a no-doubter. He simply
waited to gauge which molasses-slow pitch Hernandez was pitching
(hanging curve ball) and launched it deep into the right field stands.

Too bad it's not the NFL or NBA. At least then we could be stoked
about working on a good draft pick.
