Default Liriano Getting Shelled

He last 2/3 of an inning today. It's 6-1 in the top of the 2nd as I
write this.

Liriano's bottom of the first inning went like this:

Walk
Single
Pop out
Walk
Single
Walk
Single
Single
Single

Oh, and Carlos Gomez hit a lead off HR for the Twins' only run so far.

Yes, Liriano looked TERRIBLE today. Ouch.

Is he a "not ready for prime time" player yet? Sure looks that way.

Too bad he couldn't pull a "speedy gonzales" and run around the
bases six times to tie the game. ;-)

Alan, you are starting to write like your pal Carlos Gomez
speaks! ; ) Look, just because you admire him, doesn't mean you have
to pretend to *be* him. It's not healthy.

Looks like he might need to do a few more laps than that.

LOL.

I've noticed that I'm getting sloppy with my prose of late. In another
post about Hernandez I said "batter are getting used to him",
forgetting the plural.

Ugg. Get well soon Kevin Slowey. Francisco needs a bit more rehab
time, I think.
