Jammer had his first bad game in a couple of years Give the guy a break.

Getting beat twice in a row at one point by Camirillo is kind of pathetic,
thoough.

It's pretty simple. The game is on the line, the clock is running, we need
to get the ball back or we're going to lose. Somebody step up and make a
fucking play. Anybody.

With all due respect Jammer has 11 picks in 7 years despite being a
starter basically from the beginning. To say Jammer is not exactly a
ballhawk is like saying Jamal Williams is not exactly a vegetarian. He
just doesn't seem to ever make a play on the ball. The receiver catches
it, Jammer makes the tackle.

Is he a bad corner? No. But he's not really much of a playmaker over
there. He's the perfect corner for Cottrell's 32nd ranked pass defense.
And that's not much of a compliment.

At least he'll come up and fill on running plays, I see Cromartie dancing
around the scrum like it's a cold swimming pool he's afraid to dip his toe
into. I don't think he's our weak link.

It's Cottrell's job to put them in a position to do that. But lining up
your DBs 7 yards off the ball on 2nd and 6 and rushing 4 is not the way
you do that.

Yes, Jammer is a good tackler who isn't afraid to put pads on people.
Good thing too, considering how many people catch the football around
him.

I dunno, I saw Cromartie lay some pretty good hits on people today. I
don't think you want Cromartie diving into piles unless it's necessary
anyhow. Last thing we need is for him to get injured piling on a play
he didn't need to be on. He seems to be the one guy in our secondary
capable of making a big play.

Cottrell is our weak link.

lol!

Well, at least he's improved a little bit. I've seen him actually turn
around and try to look at the ball a few times this year.

Clinton Hart pulled a "Jammer" on that PI in the 4th quarter when
Miami was throwing from it's own end zone. Hart turned around, didn't
see the ball because he was looking at the wrong trajectory, and
pulled the receiver down for fear of the receiver catching it and
beating him for a TD. Ironically, he was in perfect position to make a
play on the ball. It was thrown too high and Hart was deeper than the
receiver.

I certainly didn't see anything wrong with his hands _or_ speed yesterday.
Very quick.

it was more important to keep Buster Davis & Malcolm Floyd...

Does anyone honestly think our issues on offense have anything to do with
not keeping Wes Welker or Greg Camarillo? Seriously Pouta, even with as
spectacularly wrong as you are about almost everything, you can't be *that*
delusional.

Not at all, that's not the point. It's that Camarillo looks good, being beat
by him doesn't carry a stigma. Actually, sort of a backhand compliment to
Jammer.
