After the cubs stole the pennant from the giants in 1908 they have yet to
win a WS, making the giants 54 year drought seem miniscule in comparison.
Even if it takes the dodgers to enforce this jinx, it seems to be a strong
one. You just don't steal a pennant from the giants.

Though you can steal one from the Dodgers. Apparenlty, you need a wire to
some guy in center field so he can let the hitters know what is coming.

Now that the Cubbies are down 0-2 to the Dodgers, I guess Sweet Lew
has them right where he wants them. Im about to win enough dinero to
pay for next year's vacation if the Cubs go full belly up against the
Dodgers. :)
