I kept hearing all season that no matter who wins from the N.L. West, they
will be dead ducks in the playoffs. I think any team can get hot even a
team that wins a division with the least wins of any team in the playoffs.
It has happenned before. Its nice to see the bums avenge the Cubs for
stealing the pennant from the Giants in 1908 using that Merkle's Boner
argument.

Funny, even the Cardinals two years ago didn't get this much
resistance from the talking heads, and they were 83-81 in their
majestic run.

Any time the Giants are denied the pennant, no vengeance is required
:-)
