At least he didn't walk a run in or anything.
Very nice game by the Cole. Interviewed afterwards, he seems to have the
speaking voice of Mickey Mouse. I guess I'll take that trade off.
That Lidge is money. What kind of money, I have no idea. But, he *is* money.

Like those dang Pirates. Can't remember what game that was
now... Last week or so.

Yep.

It's all part of his plan, man.
Myers tonight. Would be nice if he's got his mojo.
CC just pitched a complete game on short rest. Does he ever get
tired? That would also be nice.

Alls Myers has to do is locate his curve for strikes. That's it. No
"overpowering" fastball. His out pitch is his curve. Wasn't that long ago
someone was quoted as saying Brett had the best curve in the Majors.
Remember that? I do.

Stinking AL pitching. NP. What with Ben Shits not pitching, CC can pitch a
perfect game and the Phils are still taking this series.
How about the cubbies going down?
Dodgers Phillies for NL Pennant?

I have the feeling today will be no middle ground for him. He'll either
dominate or totally suck.

Myers is rested and confident, according to the Phillies.

That's a good start.

Is that the Spanish i sounds like ee?

Why, I just remarked to my family baseball pool that the Cubs
are going down. I think the Phils can take the Cubs or L.A., so
it doesn't, maybe, matter.
