Tigers have one more game to go in the regular season, which if they
win will put the Twins in the playoffs but if they lose the Twins will
have to go to Chicago and play a game and do something they haven't
done all season...win a clutch game on the road.

But, the positive thing is Chuck Hernandez, Tiger's pitching coach,
has been fired. Long overdue. I hope the team is responsible in
selecting their next coach. They need a guy that get Verlander et.
al. back to pitching great ball.

One weird thing about the Sox vs Tigers game to day is that Freddy
Garcia will be starting and pitching against Gavin Floyd. Floyd, in
2006 post season, was traded from Philadelphia Phillies to Chicago
White Sox w/LHP Gio Gonzalez for RHP Freddy Garcia.

So maybe Ordonez and Garcia can spark a fire in the team and they'll
play the Sox hard. I don't think they'll win, but they'll play hard.

Twins won a massively clutch road game v. Tampa a week and a half ago...and
it was a comeback win.
