Roy Halladay, who has been with the Jays for ten years, has been an
outstanding pitcher. One could argue that he has been the best Blue Jay
ever. However, during his
time with the Jays, and in spite of his excellent pitching record, the Jays
have never really come close to being a contender.

Roy deserves better. Now 31, he should be given the chance to pitch for a
contender,
which the Jays are not. They, if they do everything right, are at least
three or four years away and Roy would not be getting any younger. If the
Jays were to trade Roy now in the off-season both he and the Jays would be
winners. The Jays could demand three or four outstanding prospects and Roy
could possibly pitch in the playoffs or even a World Series.

This just in: Paul Godfrey has quit as president of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Was it voluntary or does Rogers fear the coming season in 2009 would be like
those of the
last 14, deja vu all over again?

The most recent extreme left, of course, incorporated
the irrational element of Nazism. It was the Red Brigade's
Ulrike Meinhoff who said at her trial, "Auschwitz meant that
six million Jews were killed, and thrown on the waste heap of
Europe for what they were: money Jews.

To bad we could not trade you in on a used pinto station wagon, with
four good
tires.

WHY would they trade Doc,they would be better off dumping AJ,his year
was
aberration, his career best. Most teams in the nl would shell out for him
and you can
bet the skanks and bosox are drooling already, the jays don't need
pitching
prospects they need someone with power
who can hit between VW and AL .can you
say Jim Thome.especially if the pale house exit the early in the play
off's/

Mr clutch to,what a shot to wrap the season up for the white sox, classic
game and win.

Thome hit a lot more dingers than most
of the jays squad,he is a perfect fit for the
club and could be had cheaply,ak less than it cost em for now defunct
frank
thomas.

Please not jason g,he smells of balco
so badly he has been ask to shower by
himself in the skanks dressing room.
