BS. Its all a bunch of big timing cheap talk after the fact. He is the one
who screwed up repeatedly and put himself in that position, and even though
he was a great player and may never screw up again, he can't just wipe it
away from the stream of reality.

If I was the one writing the bazillion dollar checks he wanted, I would have
thought twice too. He was at risk long before Peterson said it. NFL program
or not, he is still an alcoholic and that is where his risk lies. As long as
he keeps that in mind he will be fine, but its not helping him to throw
stones at the Chiefs who had multiple reasons for trading him away. He can
keep dwelling on the past in anger, but it sure won't help him stay sober.
And lets hope he has given up on the party bar business for his own sake.
