Egads don't tell me the Mets tanked another playoff opportunity?

Did they? Could they really? They did!

Carlos still searching for post season at-bats.

its my guess mr.delgado will fade away very soon,he was and is a
good hitter but never a great one.
His value must be slipping though to,I
wonder where he goes from here?

Not good enough to ever make the hof,
and never the hero he wanted to be.To
bad he was so greedy a few years back,
if he would have been a little more humble, and taken a few less
million, shit the jays already made him a very rich
man in the first place.Maybe if he had hung in there he still would be
getting gravy with his fries,my my the marlins
sure docked him out of is shorts.

I liked Carlos here. You are right. Greed got him and maybe payback's a
bitch for him, Santana and all of the other greedy Mets.

2 years of egg in the face.

Not convinced. Carlos had said he wanted to stay in Toronto, but the
management made it clear they were not interested, and the offer they made
was not just below market value, but downright insulting, then they had the
audacity to ask him to refuse arbitration, so they would get a compensatory
draft pick.
Today, Carlos is past his prime. Perhaps he has a couple of years left, but
he's not as valuable a commodity today as he was when he left the Jays.

LOLOLOLOLO...some folks are so afraid
to admit things when they know it's false.

Market value smarket value.I suppose you
think a-rod is worth the coin then, not now
not ever.with the dollar being worth about
a nickel soon, those numbers will be history.

If i remember they offered him around 7 mil a season with incentive
bonuses to
boot, and I'm sure he would have made
more in the end then a lot of rising star
are gona get in the next 5 years or so.
Apart form drug czars from latin america
who makes more money than ball players?

They fared no better with him then without
him, infact they have played better ball on
whole since he left!

So bk your still wrong wrong wrong, you
can quip all you like about smoke being
blown where ever you like .

The simple fact is when the bosses say we ain't shellin out no more
coin,they ain't
gona.He ended up as fish bait and then
a dead mackerel in na york.Perhaps he
should cash in his loonies and head back
home and buy an island to live on and
guard is loot.I would...How many nike
or other commercials do you see
carlose in....did he even ever make the
f'n wheaties box....???????

Simple answer no,,,why 1 he was a jay...
2 he was good not great....3 coopers
town,,is not waiting in the wings!
