This season had a lot of them for many teams in the al,I am really
beginning to think apart from a few teams the nl is a looking more like
a seniors home"league"
Anyway here goes.
Kudos
1st The Angels for their savvy,coach who
seems to defy the rules with his little ball
style and speed on the base pads,a few
in here have said speed and base stealing
does not win games.Well maybe not but
it sure as hell helped the Halos to be the
best team in the al this season hands
down.
(Side note to billy kawalec seems
more than coincidence mr.baseball know
it all.??That the four best teams in the al,3
of which have locked a post season berth
all had over 100 swiped bases,well your
kitty cats had a pitiful 59 worst in the majors.Including the twins who
swiped 100 or more and may very well steal all the thunder from the
drays in the first round.)HOPE SO!
2nd/The twins who looked to be dead meat right out of the gate after
dealing
away all that talent,and end up edging
out the pale hose by a whisker so far,with some great season end
heroics.well done!
The scenario;
American League
If the Twins win and the White Sox lose, the Twins win the AL Central
and will play the Rays in the Division Series.
If the White Sox win and the Twins lose or if both teams either win or
lose, the White Sox will play a makeup game with the Tigers on Monday.
If Chicago and Minnesota are still tied following the completion of the
makeup game, a one-game tiebreaker will be played at Chicago on Tuesday.
I for one hope it comes down to the tig's
and the twins,that would be so ironic,the
twins who where picked to be not even an
also ran,but the tig's with all the smoke and mirrors hype picked to be
world
series contenders.HahaHahaaaaaa.And
they about talk about the jays gm,
blowing smoke,dumb broskee is the king
of bs slingers and stupid moves.And they are stuck now with all those
high priced
rent a wrecks fish..looks good on em.
3/ The bo sox who are the only team left
in the al that has proved tons of
money will buy anything.Also kudos to
the sox for finally dumping the biggest
jerk in the majors,but a dam fine hitter.
No more manny being manny shit,it would
be ironic if the torey's dodgers faced the
sox in the ws,but thats about a 40-1 shot.
4th Yes the jays.For one thing having bar
none the best rotation and bull pen in the majors.And a pretty dam good
2nd half
finish.If the offence had been just a couple of points better who
knows,but the big down side to the 2nd half finish we get to
suffer yet another year of goofery and his pimp jp.Dam it to Hell.Again
a travesty if
John Mac does not get a gold glove.
And for being 10 games over .500 at season end as Cito shot for and
predicted
52-30 good stuff.After being 9 games under when he took over,No credit
to
jp of course as most of his pics and
trades did nothing in 7 years.And most
of the guys from even the gord ash years
are still shinning,good thing.
5th/The tribe who all but decimated the
entire team and end up with an 500 season and climbed over the tig's
after
being 10 or more games behind,credit
goes to sheer fortitude.Again well done.
And just may well spoil the pale hose
season,good on ya.And kudos to the
possible cy winner lee.!
6th/Those pesky kc royals who where
once the stepping stones for teams in the
alc mainly the tig's and pale hose,perhaps
the only reason the tig's made post season in what almost thirty years
and
god knows how many before that.Pretty
shity for one of the oldest franchises in the majors.Any way well done
kc.
Yes I did not mention the drays,but it's my
opinon that the drays although deserve credit,it would seem that this
season mlb
was looking for a cindy team and the drays fit the bill.Not that I am
implying
the fix was in,but perhaps many of the
teams who used to beat up on the drays
took them to lightly especially in the first
half when they took over 1st place and
never looked back.The mets have to be
still cringing,about that off season deal.
And what's with that shit playing games in
fantasy land in disney world,,sheeish.
Their fan base sure needs a shot in the arm any game i watched this
season the
park was 2/3 empty.
The Dogs of the Summer;
1st. Bar none the tig's with all that money
and hype,sure they hit a ton of hrs.But
with a shitty bull pen and over hyped staff.
Lost more games than any other team with leads past five inn.
And the future looks just a bleak for years
to come as they blew a wad of money on
has beens that are locked up for years,
and players nobody else is gona shell out
for,shit even pudge jumped ship in the
twilight of his career,for a disgruntle pitcher who has done nothing but
suck since he hit mo town.yanks +6 tig's-9.
By far the biggest underachievers in the al
this season if not all of mlb!
A lot of heads must be hanging low in da
mota city again,and with the nfl just
cranking up not much hope for any redemption with the punching bags
lions.
2nd/The yanks who spend wads of cash every year to make post season and
it
is obviously catching up with them.A big
broom may be sweeping clean as the old
park gives way to a new one.But kudos
to moose ,who has really pulled a rabbit
out of his hat this year.
3/The pale hose who just plain may have
chocked and besides I really do not like
their foul mouthed coach ozzie and it's all
about me attitude.Kudos to paul k again this year.
4th/Unfavorable mention to the m's who
just plain suck,and where also picked to
be contenders.
Should be an interesting post season,

sake the jay's finished 3 games ahead of
the dodgers in 1st place to the jay's 4th.
