Either he pitches just bad enough to lose, or the hitters hit just bad
enough to not help Cain Win.

Typical, so typical. It's amazing he can go out there and pitch
without needing some kind of psychologcal help. If I were him, I
wouldn't trust that team as far as I could kick it.

In another closely watched development, the Giants now have the slimmest
of leads over the Padres at the bottom of the league for runs scored per
game. Counting today's Nationals' and Giants' games but not yet the
Padres', which is not over yet at this writing:

Nats 3.99 in 160 G
Gints 3.9565 in 161 G
Friars 3.9563 in 160 G

The Padres have 3 runs tonight after 6 innings. One more will tie them
with the Giants. Yet another race that's going down to the final day.

The Giants are at the bottom of the league in runs scored per game on
the road, but both Cincinnati and Washington have a chance to slip below
them tomorrow.

This guy should have a career winning record. A few more years go by like
this, and this very good pitcher could go down as a losing pitcher.

I think Cain lost this one on purpose just to make Wayne happy. Wayne can
once again tell us that Maddux owns the Giants. ;-)

Geez, 14 losses, almost as many as Zito...

Cain is as bad luck as Wilson is lucky...
