Wow, he got creamed by the lowly KC to finish out the season. If the Twins
lose the division by one game, they'll be looking back at this game for
sure. It's a gift to be in a tight division race in the final weekend of
the season and you're facing KC.

So Liriano finished the season with only *one* win against an over-.500
team. He pitched great against a bunch of bottom feeders, and near the end
of the season got creamed by 2 sub-.500 teams.

Maybe he got tired at the end. 76 innings is really too much to handle.

(OK, *now* I'm trashing him.) ;-)

He still had a great 2 months; it's just that it's all against lame teams.

I wonder, what would happen if you have a talented pitcher in the NL and he
keeps on facing the Giants, Nats, and Pads and never face a good team...

I think Wayne can name a few average/below-average pitchers who killed the
Giants this year. ;-)

Oh come on Wayne! I totally set you up to name Maddux as someone who's not
that good but killed the Giants. Perfect timing too, right before a Maddux
start. You blew it.
