The Syracuse Chiefs, the Blue Jays' AAA farm team has almost always finished
near
bottom of the International League. This year they were again terrible. Now
the team
has been forced to relocate in Las Vegas Nevada as no other suitable Eastern
city wanted them.

And I believe the Jays' Double A team at New Hampshire had even a worse
season this year mired in the cellar.
Will they be next to move.

Why is it that the Yankees' AAA team Scranton Wilkes-Barr and its AA team
Trenton
finished at or near the top. They Yankees over the last fourteen years have
drafted after Toronto
so one would think that Toronto here should have a slight advantage. Do the
Yankees and Boston just
have better scouting and minor league coaching than their AL East rivals?
Have the Jays just neglected to spend
the money to get better minor league player?

I just read that Baseball America and another baseball rating service have
put the Toronto Jays in 25th and 26th place in MLB
for quality of organizational personnel (players). This is near the bottom.
And it explains why the Jays have no fucking chance
of being a contender next year. Thus Ricciardi and Gaston should refrain
from making any deals, trades or signing of veteran free agents.
This is not going to help. They need to concentrate on getting the best
prospects or rookies available an not think of contending
for at least another three years.
