Its not as if DeLaRosa has good control The giants hitters are swinging at
so many pitches off the plate. They should have a bunch of walks, but no.
Rowand has been particularly bad at swinging at really bad pitches.
McClain too. But pretty much throughout the lineup. Zito has had much
better control, but the rockies have coaxed 4 walks so far, a few of them
questionable, although Zito does have 4 called strike 3's. Just because
you get the count 2-0 or 3-1 it doesn't mean you have to swing at the next
pitch, especially when it is a foot out of the K zone, and you have the
advantage to look for your pitch, but instead of taking the walk, the gmen
will stand up there and look foolish. Hopefully they can come back with
DeLaRosa out of the game.
