No new posts here since Thursday. Is there a problem with this newsgroup or
have Peterson and Edwards finally destroyed the last bit of enthusiasm
anyone had to post an opinion?

There really isn't anything to talk about that everyone doesn't know.
Carl Peterson should be fired, Herman Edwards is not an NFL caliber coach.
I really can't give crap to the players because most are rookies, that would
be like
putting a six year old kid behind the wheel of a NASCAR then bitchin when he
crashed the thing.

True. But sometimes it helps (a little bit, anyway) to vent when there is
nothing we can do to fix the problem--like fire Peterson and tell him to
take his little buddy Herm with him when he goes.

I also support the players and am so, so sorry for Tony G. who deserves much
better than to be stuck, at this point in his career, with a coach who is
the perfect example of the Peter Principle. What Herm is obviously missing
(I mean, besides the big red clown shoes and the matching bulb nose) is
competence at the level he has achieved, and this is not the time nor the
place for him to practice at it.

(Thanks for responding, Iceman. I don't usually come out of lurkdom but,
b/c of inactivity on the newsgroup, I thought there was something wrong with
the newsgroup download. I enjoy reading all the comments posted--well
except for the trolls.)

We're all so exasperated that we might take up trolling in other
newsgroups....just kidding. No, it's so bad right now that all I can
think is about draft day and what will be our needs, (besides getting
rid of Herm and King Carl).

Its just nice that someone besides the usual 4 or 5 people are looking at
this NG for a change. If you post, I know you will get answers... but it was
like the water got poisoned and everybody moved away or something.

Hey, its fun. I actually made some friends on the Raiders NG, and have
pestered the donkey group a bit as well.

Err... not that there is anything wrong with the regulars who keep this NG
going, by the way, but at times recently its been Death Valley here. Right
now the discussion is benefitting from more people inputting than on the
Yahoo groups for once, and to make things even nicer (much nicer), there
aren't a bazillion cross posted duplicate messages. Works for me!
