Yeah...that just gave us Tiger fans false hope. They lost too many
games prior to June. They would have needed a 20 game win streak to
really get back in it. But sweeping the White Sox and taking 2 out of
3 from the Twins were highlights of the season.

Seeing Sheffield get feisty with Carmona last night was also
pleasurable.

Oh, I can't disagree, but, had they continued to play the way they did in
that June stretch, they could have been back in the race.

I think the fact they were mathematically 'in it' until 9-18 speaks
more to how weak the Central is than to how shitty the Tigers are.
Very disappointing all the way around, imho.

But yes, Scott.....maybe your Twins can do something this year....who
knows?
