What's pitiful? That there aren't a hundred people in here boasting? The
place was a sell out. They won the season's series vs. the Red Sox.

We are following and supporting the Rays. But unlike some areas of the
country where their pathetic lives are tied directly to the won-loss record
of their team, we have lots of things to do.
It's comical, orderly support of a sports franchise is an anomaly.

I guess when they clinch, I'll go flip my neighbor's car over.

I'm replying to is .

I'm an avid sports fan in the Brooksville area. I admit, I'm really a football guy
first. Historically more passionate towards football but I have belonged to the Rays
(Devil Rays) newsgroup since the start.

Admittedly I haven't checked in since the Bash Brother days but the previous (Devil)
Rays régime hasn't given much to pay attention to until this year.

I think this group needs some passion, just my take. Well maybe Wade Boggs, John
Flaherty, Ryan Rupe, Fred McGriff, Dave Martinez!, Quinton McCracken, Randy Winn, Jose
Canseco and others may agree.
