Dear All,

The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (a sailing and rowing club) organises
the "Around the Island Race" each year for sailing boats, rowing boats
and also outrigger canoes. The 2008 race will be held on Sunday 23
November.

We're looking for expressions of interest in competing in a long
distance rough water rowing race. We may have some empty boats (not
enough of our own mad members!) that we would like to offer to
visiting crews. Possibly a Double or a Coxed Quad, or both. There may
also be spare seats in other boats for individuals to fill.

Boats are the Eurodiffusions brand 'yole' style. This will be familiar
to anyone in Europe or the UK, or to those who have offshore rowing
experience.

We can arrange visiting membership to our club, assistance with
accomodation, and we are even putting on some social events to make it
a perfect event for you! Entry fees TBC, but your airfare will
probably be the biggest expense.
