Maybe it would be smart. But it ain't gonna happen. If the Chiefs
weren't interested in Brett Favre, Daunte Culpepper or Chris Simms,
they aren't going to bite on Jeff Garcia, either.

Yes, it would be nicer still to win a playoff game or two, and Jeff
Garcia's not going to help towards that goal.
I like Jeff Garcia and think he's underrated, but the best he can do for
the Chiefs is lead them to mediocrity. Now that the Chiefs are
rebuilding, I see no reason to strive for that. Why not at least
attempt to develop a QB who you can rebuild around?

First you have to convince him to come here to take a beating and perhaps a
season or career ending injury. No QB who is capable of seriously helping a
team win is going to want to take that risk.
