NERD: Garcia also knows the WCO.
Still, I'd give up whatever I could to get Brady Quinn. He'd be a long
term answer. But yeah, you GOTTA ditch Chilly. He will ruin any young QB.

He's got a minor ding but his head is on sideways. Gruden thinks Griese
is running the offense better (Our system is perfect for Griese).

He's become expendable. He also is an extremely fast learner and I'm
sure he could learn enough of the offense to take over in 2 weeks.
He'll be 100% healthy in two weeks also.

There have been rumours on the net of a possible trade. How credible
they are is another issue.

Neh. Garcia's as old as Frerotte, and really not that much better a qb,
especialy this year.
Even Chilly's smart enough not to pull the trigger on a trade for
Garcia. Minnesota, has to take their lumps this year with either
Frerotte or Booty, then next season, go back to the drawing board and
look around the league and try to snag a backup with potential like
Cassell from New England, or draft a real qb in the 1st round and stay
away from qb's from div 2a schools, At this point, I bet they can't even
get any trade value for Jackson.

He might could give you a bump up. If TB starts shopping him hard it
doesn't hurt to take a look. But I agree he's got two years at the most.

His style of play is very similar to Gannon.

Thing is I don't really know if you have anyone we could use in a
player trade. We could use a TE, WR (Not stellar - Just with decent
hands) or another OG.

Damn we are deep at RB. Bennett had a great preseason and we can't
dress him on game day because Gruden prefers Dunn and Graham right now
and they are playing good. But I want to see what Bennett can do and
he has home run speed.

It's usually a bad idea to give up draft picks, unless it's like a 6th
or 7th.

›› Well and if Frerotte were to be injured, certainly Garcia's name
would pop up fast, if he's not already traded by then.
