NERD: Festus is waiting around for the Jets to release Favre at the end
of the season. LOL.

We'll have to see if Brad Childress calls more than just the same 3 or
4 plays. We saw what happened to Brad Johnson, a seasoned veteran who
had a good run as a starter in 2005 under Tice, when he was forced to
perform under Childress' kick-ass offense the following season

›› Keep dreaming. Favre will never be a Viking. I love how you
packers have turned on the guy, who only for a lot of seasons, single
handidly brought you guys victories by making no name wide receivers
look good, completing ridiculous under hand passes for positive yardage,
and bringing you guys back late in games because your defense has sucked
the last 13 yrs, and still sucks this year. Count your lucky stars
Rodgers isn't the joke we all thought he'd be. Of course you have Dallas
next right? We'll see how Rodgers does there.
As for Frerotte, well...... he's better than Jackson. You guys all
laughed, and said the same shit when they named Jeff Geroge the starter
and all he did is go out there and win games, and got Minny into the
post season. Frerotte is a short term answer. Fire Chilly is THE answer.

You are wise, Grasshopper.

As a life-long Redskins fan, I know a few things about Gus.

1. Install extra padding on the walls behind the end-zone (in '98 he
scored a TD on a bootleg, and celebrated by head-butting the wall,
thus injuring his neck and missing the next two games).

2. Have the receivers wear gloves (he throws hard, even when the
receiver is six feet away).

3. He's getting close to the NFL record for starts for multiple teams
(Wash, Det, Den, Cin, Min, Mia, Stl, and now Min again). I doubt he
even unpacks anymore.

You guys have a way of recycling QBs.

He was pretty fly, for an old white guy.
