I am outfitting my first single shell. I am a recreation/fitness
rower. I want good equipment but not necessarily the best. Cost is a
factor.javascript:CG_PlayCaptcha();

Where are you located?
Generally I'd suggest C2 oarlocks (not expensive, standard, and last a
long time). If you are in the USA they also have a discount section
for Sculls that might get you even a better price than expected for
the set you need, otherwise the prices are quite reasonable anyway.
You can look for used sculls.

I'd suggest dropping by the Lookout Rowing Club (it's downtown) and
see if someone might have some used C2 blades and/or oarlocks.
They'reprobably there in the late afternoons ( call to be sure).
I'm in Knoxville and could fix you up with something if you're not in
a hurry.
