I don't know, but here are some of the comments about the fight on
boxrec.com:

http://forum.boxrec.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=88079

They are fighting for some Euro belt, according to Fight News.

Anyone know anything about Mark Potter? On paper, it appears to be
quite a step up for Butterbean.. especially since he's now 42 years
old and up over 430 pounds.

EDIT: Potter is the fellow who Danny Williams KOd after dislocating
his shoulder. Just realized he's been inactive for 5.5 years!

one, he weighed 400+ pounds and was KOed by a kick in the head, I cant
believe that a commission would allow this fight to happen, they
should be ashamed.
I am in fear of Butterbeans health, he looked HORRIBLE in his last
fight and if he continues to fight and not train bad things will
happen to him health wise, please dont let this fight happen.

he's been taking plenty of punishment in the past several years
because of that... he may beat this guy simply because Potter himself
is mega inactive, but really he should have retired at least a few
years ago

but he was hyped as an opp for audley during the ill fated beeb

as well as the williams defeat...Mark was taken apart by Sprotty

Potter is supposed to have a detached retina or sumthing

needless to say ...this fight is pants

butterbeab should focus on jd chapman...donnel holmes ..or another

this is awful.

Potter was never more than a solid British level operator, and that
was at his peak. But, from what I remember, he was fighting unlicensed
a couple of years back, although I've no idea whether he's even still
active where that's concerned. Regardless, he can't have much left,
surely? And we know that Butterbean has nothing left at all. This
stinks.

Edit: After reading the Brit forum, it looks like Potter is still
fighting unlicensed, so at least he won't be completely rusty after
his lay off in the pro ranks. He should win.

Legitimate? Well i guess a 4 round world title fight answers that.

It's unlicensed, or to use the organisation's own terminology,
"independent".

I don't know Potter's unlicensed form, but I think he would have
comfortably beaten Butterbean at any stage of his/their legit careers.
People might say he was "only" British title level at his peak, but a)
that was a pretty competitive domestic division at the time, and b)
Butterbean has never at any point in his life been within sniffing
distance of any kind of legit boxing title level.

Posts: 3 Butterbean looked grotesque in his last 'fight' the two
round defeat Cabbage

In his 'prime' Beans weight was usually in the mid 300lbs mark,
against Cabbage he was 417lbs !! as a consequence of this vast weight
he was painfully slow, his stamina non existent and only capable of
throwing single punches

(Bean did once beat 'Cabbage' in an MMA fight, fact he is now getting
sparked by him indicates how far he has regressed)

Potter on the other hand is legally blind in one eye !

What a hideous spectacle it promises to be

Mark Potter won the fight in the first round after about a minute he
absolutely battered Butterbean to a pulp, i think he will have more
than a sore head today.

I'm sure there is still one RSB regular who will be there to give him
a great big bear hug and probably a sloppy wet blow job (if they can
find Butterbean's d!ck under all that waist blubber) and make him feel
all better about himself. You know who I am talking about it!!!

'tis a shamme that you speak so disparagingly of my main man
Eric "Butterbean" Esch.

Face-to-face with DCI would present insurmountable problems
for the Rieper. Be that as it may, the call is out.
