Now, I know I'm trying to engage a lunatic, but...
The Bills are 2-0 and are the AFCE's cream of the crop; the Pats are
2-0 with a division win against a contender, and they're an
abomination?

Who is the contender? The Jets? Hardly. They're a media darling. Strike
that, they *were* a media darling, and they won't prove to be much this
year.

neither team has been tested. seattle is hardly a power given that they lost
to the 49ers and the raiders beat KC. an errant pass into the end zone at
the end of the half by garrard or jones stretching out his arms on a couple
of passes and the score could have been different today in jacksonville. the
pats did clearly play better then the jets - but what does that say? the
jets are going no where.
the bills should roll through the next several weeks with the raiders, rams
and cards - three duds; and the pats have the phins and 49ers on deck - two
duds. we will have to wait to mid season to see what each teams has in store
for the year.
way too early to get excited.

Nope. your point was that the Pats played a contender in the Jets. A
point that is laughable to anyone who knows the game. The Jets haven't
made the playoffs in years. You also implied that the Bills hadn't
played a contender. The Bills just beat two teams who both made the
playoffs last season.
Granted you are probably just trolling but....Did you watch any of these
games? The Pats look very mediocre against two very weak teams. The
Bills have looked dominant against two very good teams.

You're a joke. A pathetic one.
Just ask anyone here.
Unlike you, I'm an objective fan. I don't extrapolate based on one or
two games, I don't pretend to have any "inside information", I don't
play Zoltan, and I certainly don't underestimate the Bills' opponents.
Like the Bills, the Jets upgraded many positions in the offseason.
Many picked them to make the playoffs. The Chiefs are a joke, just
like the Seahags are a shell of their former team. Just like I'm not
willing to anoint Edwards as the next Steve Young, neither am I
willing to say Matt Cassell is the next Tom Brady. The Pats still
have some serious, battle tested veteran talent on that team, Brady or
no Brady.
You're just too criminally obtuse to sniff it.

no one is saying that the pats are world beaters because they beat kc or
nyj - regardless of what some thought of the jets.
however - the bills opponents were good teams last year means nothing this
year. the seahawks could not get past the 49ers, and the bills did not
dominate - and yes i saw the game.
the pat's story is that they are still winning, with a new qb. the bills
story is that edwards looked real good. neither is a world beater yet. a
long way from being a contender in the class of the nfce teams. and one and
done from the fourth seed is not a great year. means easy schedule helped
whomever is there.
me - colts and steelers in the finals, the rest of the league will be
looking up.

Hmmm, Your anti-Bills bias is showing. Your logic in analyzing the Bills
is now different when looking at teams you like. The Colts lost to the
Bears and the Steelers beat Houston and squeaked by the Browns. Doesn't
that make them at par or below what the Bills have accomplished?
Oh well, We will see in the weeks to come.

I don't know about that. I know it is only 2 games in, but Denver is
starting to show some attitude, and Shannahan (sp?) is the type of coach
that can make it happen.

It is your use of a 2 game sample that makes your argument sound so
ridiculous. No one in their right mind would anoint a team after 2 games
nor suggest that a 2 game sample is enough to give proper judgment of any
team. If Buffalo is a better team than Indy this season they have a long
way to prove it. Let's have this conversation after week 10 or 11 when
looking at their records would actually hold water. 2 games? Please.

The judgment comes from watching the three most important aspects of the
game and analyzing them. The teams mentioned in comparison to the Bills
these first two weeks have shown weakness in some parts of the game. The
Bills have not. In offense, defense and special teams the Bills have
excelled and have shown that they are a team to be reckoned with. I've
seen it before. Last time around here was around 1990!!

Let me get this straight:
You're assertion is that after a whopping two games, the Bills, as a
team, have "zero" weaknesses. Are you implying they will coast
through the season with no weaknesses, or just that the assertion only
applies to the first two games?

They are a very young team and will get better week by week. No matter
what you and the "others" think, I am correct as usual.... the Buffalo
Bills are a dominant force in the AFC.

:Correct as usual" is quite an amusing touch. You know as well as anyone
that the reason you are so ridiculed is your inability to view the team with
any objectivity thus having predicted their greatness as well as the
greatness of many of their failed players every year for at least the last
five. The fact that the Bills might be in for a good run this year says
nothing about your ability to assess football...no more than your ability to
predict a coin flip and be right every now and then. That said, good on the
Bills because if its going to be anyone but the Pats representing from the
AFCE, definitely prefer it be the Bills.
