I hope someone let Herm know that these games count unless there is
some valid reason to have quarterback try-outs during the regular
season.

That's a very good question.
In the post game press conference Herm said more times than I can count that
" we can't run the ball".
Well why the hell not? is the question I believe most people would be asking
themselves, unless you happen to be
an NFL coach.
But the bitter truth is Herm doesn't know either, and said so during the
interview. " We can't run the ball and I don't know why".
I am not an NFL coach, so I don't have the answers, but then again neither
is Herm. I would expect an NFL head coach to
see what is going on, recognize mistakes and try to correct them during the
game. instead I saw him just stand there with that stupid looking
half smurk on his face and do absolutly nothing.
Maybe the reason why we saw our veterans go to other teams the past two
seasons is so Herm could blame loosing games
on rookie mistakes, instead of on his own lack of coaching skill.
The person we should have seen leave KC is Herman Edwards.

Just like the Raiders won't win another AFC West Championship till Al
Davis dies. We will never be a respectable team in the AFC West till
Herm Edwards quits. I'm saying that because I expect a contract
extension this year. Look at what he's talked Clark Hunt into already.
