Tigers already DID do something worthwhile...they beat the Twins 2 out
of 3 in Minneapolis. Seeing the Twins only two big boppers go down in
the 9th inning once with 2 on and again with the bases loaded made the
whole season a success for me. Twins, like the Tigers, will be on
vacation in October. The Twins can look at being swept by the Jays,
losing 2 out of 3 to Seattle and Detroit in September as a major
reason they'll be going fishing.

Twins are still only one game back, so anything is still possible.

Unlikely, but at least possible.

Strike that, after the double header today, they are tied for first
place in the ALC....again.

That is until the White Sox play again. Seeing as how badly the
Tigers are playing and since they'll start more guys from Toledo than
Detroit, I would not be surprised to see the White Sox take both ends
of the double header and regain first place.

Hell, since Tiger pitching can't seem to get Jermaine Dye out, he
alone could beat the Tigers.
