I went to the Trop this afternoon and bought tickets to the three Red
Sox games next week. When I got there there were 10 people in front of
me and three windows open. When I left there were 9 people waiting in
line. The ticket seller said it had been steady all day. Looking
forward to it.

I have tix to game 1 and game 3 ,

I hoping to bring out the broom for game 3 .

All the traits you use to descibe Boston residents are the very same
traits used to describe rednecks. The odd thing though is that
rednecks are known to be from the south. I think someone needs to do
some more research. Maybe if you venture out of your state you will
realize that A) not everyone is like you and B) not every place has a
Walmart or Target on every corner.

south. My neighbors are about all retired professionals from everywhere but
Florida.

I just wish all the tourists would leave when their wallets are empty.

They say Florida is better than it was 50 years ago. Yes better, the
bays and rivers are pooluted beyond hope. The Army Corp of Engineers
came in and screwed up theEverglased for flood control. You use tobe
able to access beaches without stepping on people or trying to access
beaches reseverd for condos and hotels. You used to be able to catch
fish in the bays and rivers and never worried about limits and size.
There were deer and hogs and bear to kill and eat. Not to mention the
traffic and taxes. Yep we are better than we were 50 yrs ago.

I could remember driving cars onto the beach and building bonfires and
drinking beer and sex on the beach. Now you get your but thrown in
jail. That's progress they say. Was a much simpler time then. Yep we
are better off now than we were before.

Sorry Chuck. The ship has hit the iceberg. Like I said before, the
Titanic ALMOST completed its journey too. At least your lifeboat will
be the wild card. Hopefully they will do the Sox a favor and knock
off the Angels. They had our number this year. Plus, I wouldn't mind
making a trip to Tampa, I haven't been to a Walmart or
Waffle House in weeks.
