unbelievable, unfortunately jessie my geriatric old tortie&white went
off to meet her maker a few weeks ago now so probably abit late for
her. I still have Fatty though who might be converted if there is any
food in it for him, otherwise i think he will just stay on the sofa
where he is now making a huge dent in the cushions and he'll just
continue to ponder when his next meal is going to arrive instead of
pondering the possible existence of a greater being (other than she
who opens the whiskas pouches for him).

anyway, after being shunted through catholic schools for 14 years I am
a committed atheist now and would never entertain the idea of feeding
anyone the lies i was told were true fact, even my cat who never
listens to me anyway.

btw i did have to give jessie a bath once a few months ago, not by
choice, unfortunate accident involving a garden pond and a small child
who is very lucky he can still walk meant i had to bathe her and giev
her a quick rinse with the shower, used proper cat shampoo. She was
actually ok with it but then i made sure the water was just warm
enough and used the shower on a gentle setting and not too hot. I
think she knew that getting a quick rinse was far preferable to
staying in the mucky state which necessitated the emergency ablutions
in the first place. also when they get older they just put up with
stuff like that, and she probably knew she woudl be getting lot sof
treats and tuna chunks etc afterwards so did nto complain too much,
bless her.
