I'm not making excuses for him, but he's just not been the same since
his first stint on the DL. He was off after that, and he's off by
more since the last DL. No velocity, no movement and he's just trying
to push the ball to the plate. Terrible mechanics tonight.

I know he's a team leader, and Maddon feels for Percy, but you simply
can not afford to have him as your closer if you expect to win the
division.

And I need to give my fingernails a break - they're all to the quick
and bleeding from the past 2 nights.
