Jackie Battle and Maurice Price went to the practice squad
yesterday... I guess to make room for QB Ingle Martin (just dropped
from the Titans practice squad) and WR Marques Hagans, the former Ram
who had been on the Chiefs practice squad. So that should translate
into more potential work for Smith.

Yeah, they were released to make room for the other guys, and the Chiefs
were somewhat lucky that both cleared waivers, because both could help
the Chiefs in the future.
