Whoever put him in the game on that 3rd and 11 from the inch line,
Gunther, the position coach, or Herm, has lots of 'splainin to do,
unless there were 2 safeties hurt. McGraw should NEVER be in the game
except for goal line situations or special teams. He's only on the
squad because he's Herm's pet. He should not be playing on on regular
D!!!! When Surtain was beat/released Moss(I'll give him some, (very
little) slack), the safety help was nowhere to be found because it was
McGraw chasing from 10 yards behind. I hope they weren't expecting the
Pats to run the ball there, and that's why McGraw was in. This is
Bellichek, not some offensive amateur who plays scared like Herm, and is
satisfied to run it to the 4 and then punt. That was the key play of
the game and the play the Chiefs badly blew because of personnel
package. Dierdorf on TV said incredulously it looked like the
Chiefs were expecting the run. That's probably because Herm expects
everyone to play scared like he does. I don't want to come down too
hard on the team because they played OK overall, but that play was
unforgivable, and that play likely cost them a very winnable game, and
it just shouldn't of happened.
