Seeing that you Red Sux have won the same amount of world titles as the
Marlins have in the past ten years means exactly DICK to most true baseball
fans!

back to back is what Youklis and and Elsbury will look like sharing a double
headed dildo right up the poop shute at the end of the ALDS.

Red Suk LOSER !

What a lame ass post. Comparing the # of Sox titles with that of the
Marlins. What the hell does that mean? All I know is that the Sox
have won 2 WS Championships in the last 4 years. That is more than
anyone else in MLB during this decade. If you want to go back to
prior decades, have fun. Apparently you are too thick to grasp the
fact that sports are all about 'what have you done for me lately'. Do
you still bask in the joy of the Lightning and Bucs championships
(maybe because that is all you have). This is like Yankee fans
flashing the 26 rings. Big deal. The Celtics have the most NBA
titles but that didn't make not winning for 20+ years any easier to
take. The Pats have three SB wins in recent memory, does that mean
last years loss didn't sting? You mention 'any true baseball fan'
there is no way you fall into that category. Your just a whiny bitch
who is lashing out because his team is going down the tubes. They
will lose the division but should still hang on to make the
playoffs.

....said the home-schooled Salutatorian. (It will probably take you a
week to figure that one out.)

I lived in Tampa for a year and, aside from Mons Venus and Ybor City,
it had nothing to offer. Thanks but I don't need a Walmart, Publix,
Circle K and Walgreen's every 2 miles. Florida is the land of the
newlywed and nearly dead. Nice place to visit but that is it. As for
your IQ comments, yea, with places like Harvard and MIT, Boston is
really pumping out some morons. I said a month ago that the Rays
would fold. Playoffs should still be a lock which will still be an
admirable accomplishment. Maybe if they do make the playoffs, they
can draw more than 20K for a game. Pathetic.

In other words...."I know you are but what am I."

A 2rd grade comeback. Brilliant! I would expect nothing less.
btw....it wasn't a compliment. I KNEW you wouldn't get it. Let me
know if you are still confused and I will explain it. Maybe someone
else in here could but this room is as empty as Tropicana Field.

*yawn*

Hopefully the Rays show more fight in the playoffs than you are in
this thread. In all seriousness, enjoy the playoffs. It is great to
still be able to root for your team in October. I think the Rays are
too young to have a real shot this year but, unless the owner has a
fire sale, they should be in the hunt for the next few years (if not
more). The Sox are still the champs until someone beats them but if
their performance against the Angels this year is any indication, that
won't take long. My heart says Sox-Cubs in the WS (although facing
Manny and the Dodgers would be fun). My head says it is going to be
Angels-Cubs. Can the Cubs finally break their 'curse'? Probably not.

The Cubs and Milwaukee are both experiencing serious 'pucker factor' right
now. The Reds should have hung the first NL loss on Sabathia today. They
let it and the series sweep slip away late in the game.

They are all big now, but tonight's Rays/Sox game is magnified. Should be
fun.

Ah well, I tried to keep this good natured but you just take things
way too seriously. I guess when you are used to knowing your teams
have no real shot at competing from day one, you don't know how to
handle it when they actually do compete. Hell, even though it took
the Red Sox 86 years between titles, at least they were usually in the
race until Sept. While you are the most vocal 'fan' in this group, I
hope you aren't a true representative of the *ahem* fan base. I'm
done with you until I come back to laugh at your teams ultimate
failure. Get your pre-packaged excuse ready "well, they did better
than anyone expected and it was a great year." So far you have used
'retarded' and 'toothless' to describe me or my fellow MA residents.
You live in Florida pal! Have you ever actually stepped outside and
looked around? While not all Fl residents are rednecks, the
stereotype WAS born for a reason.

I'm glad someone in this group can speak intelligently. Chuck just
throws around 2nd grade insults. I give the Rays a lot of credit.
When the Sox came back last night, they could have folded but they
hung in there and beat Papelbon. I'm still not convinced that they
have enough to win it all, experience goes a long way in the playoffs
and the Angels and Sox have a lot more of that than the Rays. Your
right, it should be fun.

I admit that it did go over my head at first. Then I realized why. I
haven't heard that expression used since middle school. (that was the
last time I found a fart joke funny) Some of us grow out of that
stuff, others.....well, not so much.

And FUN it was! Championship baseball at its best.

What's new 'Perci Cat'? Again he did his best to give it away.
