Our defensive line did nothing. Jared Allen and Ray Edwards were invisible
and Rogers threw the ball wherever he wanted and ripped huge holes in the
Vikings secondary. Meanwhile, Aaron Kampman was lodged in TJack's spine for
much of the night. Once again, both our defense and our offensive line are
way overrated.

TJack was shaky as usual. I like TJack and think he has a lot of talent but
right now he just isn't an NFL quarterback. He better develop quickly, I
really don't want to watch this team with Frerotte over center. I don't
think the receivers got open too well either, at least in the first half. I
will give Berrian a few games, but I smell expensive bust here.

I do like that they tried to open up the offense a bit and refrained from
giving the ball to APete over and over again. How about trying to get APete
the ball in the open field rather than banging between the tackles?

Kevin Williams and Chad Greenway were bright spots on a pathetic night.

If they play like this, the Colts will blow us out of the Metrodome.

The defense will come together, too talented not to. Jackson sucked,
he's sucked from the beginning, and he'll suck until he's pulled. Chilly
needs to salvage the season, yank TJ, throw in Frerotte or Booty, and
see what happens. They need a passer.

I thought TJ played pretty good considering the pass rush he faced.
Berriam came within an eyelash of taking a perfect pass to the house.
That non PI call on Al Harris was a well thrown right on the mark
pass. He threw away a number of passes when the recievers were
covered. I only recall I think 3 bad decisions on his part. The Viking
recievers Can't I repeat Can't get any seperation especially when the
Packers corners were playing that Press coverage

Are you kidding me!!! .First off let me preface this whole post saying
the Packers earned a well deserved the win and I'm not trying to play
the What-If Game but just illustrating that the Viking didn't get man
handled. That said take a look at the 1st Packer TD After the 56yd
pass it took 7 plays to get the ball in the endzone starting from the
6. Other than the long pass the Packers offense did nothing in the1st
half.

Same thing on Grants long run in 2nd half. The d- line stuffed the run
several plays before Rogers scored.
The Packers Offense consisted of 2 long pass plays one which was a TD
called back One long run and a punt return for a TD They had no
sustained drives and when the game came down to under 3 minutes to
play the Defense rose up a pitched a 3 and out to get the ball back
with a chance to win. Bottom line I thought the Vikings D-line wiould
be able to pressure Rogers since they were playing with a makeshift O-
line but Rogers threw a lot of quick passes and rolled away from
Allens side the whole game. \
