Of all BiQueens fans, at least you're man enough to come out and post
before the game. I respect that.
Your team played us tough. If you get a new HC and a decent QB, you
guys could give us alot of trouble.
Congrats on a good game, don't hold your head down.

You hit on something there, Nerdy.... yes, the 'Queens could use a veteran
QB, and God knows that AP is the real deal, but I believe that if they had a
veteran QB, the Pack would have lost and the blame would have been on our
HC, IMO. This "play not to lose" shit kills me every time we get a coach
that plays it like that. Yeah, I know we won, but eventually, that style
catches up with almost every coach. Ask the pear-shaped freak, Mike Sherman.

NERD: Favre will do everything in his power to play for them next year.
Of course, part of his negotiation will be to preserve the employment of
BRAD CHILDRESS, because Favre knows he can control Childress and Bevell.
LOL, so really there's nothing to fear there.

>>> Hey nerd, that was exactly my thoughts watching the game. I told a
lot of Vike fans the last few seasns, and many in this NG that you
cannot draft for the QB position from rinky dink schools like Alabama
St.
You may get away with getting receivers and safties from these schools
but to be a NFL quarterback, you need to see some tough opponents and
talented defenses as a college QB. Proo in case, your guy (USC) came
right in and played tremendously, and TJ's in his third year, and still
looks lost.
TJ, I regret to say, is never going to pan out. I'd like to see Booty go
ahead, and get in there, and start taking snaps. And yes, then there's
Childress. You know, the guy I think wants to win, he means well, but he
just refuses to open up the offense. He's either going to do like last
night and hand AP 19 measley carries or he'll ask for too many carries.
If Booty or Frerotte would get in there, we 'd have more of a passing
game.
Oh well, I'm counting down the days until Jackson gets benched, because
if he don't, Chilly's going to get ran out of town, which mind you,
ain't a bad thing for us Viking fans.
I thought Rodgers looked fantastic last night. I guess 3 yrs of watching
Favre payed off. I don't think our defense played to its potential, but
doesn't take away from how good Rodgers played. I guess he's determined
to get out of Favre's shadow and quickly. Yeah, head's not down, just
frustrated that NFL coaches are not smart enough to see that Jackson
just sucks.
Good luck until you get to Minnesota.

NERD: Yeah, I'd consider starting Frerotte until Booty gets up to
speed. Tjack is just abysmal.

NERD: Rodgers sucked when he first came into the league too. That's
why Ted Thompson hired Mike McCarthy. MM's the best coach at developing
QBs in the league, imo.

WTF dude? Mike Sherman is the head coach of a college team. Lower
the lude intake.

Watching the replay today, Nerdy, I have to say that we couldn't have lost
because Childress is starting out just like he did last year..... clueless.
As pissed as I get at Packer coaches that play 'not to lose', if I were a
'Queens fan, I'd be even more pissed for having a coach that coaches 'not to
win'. It was the same shit last year, when AP was running all over the Pack
and for whatever reason, Childress decided to scrap the running game and go
thru the air. Brad Childress is not NFL coaching material, IMO.

....Right on.
Chilly does this every time. What is it with Viiking coaches? Denny
Green would do that to. They'd go to Moss, rake in the td's, then in the
4th Denny would try "not to lose" by handing off to Robert Smith and
then of course, "lose".

NERD: Yeah, I never thought you could DOWNGRADE from the Meathead!
LOL.
