The wildcard will still be a nice consolation prize though.

Not as long as Percival is the closer. Then the Rays are done.

Right here Bob. I was wrong and I admit it. Unlike most people on
these boards I can admit it and I don't hide when wrong. I wonder how
many Rays fans would have said 'hey, you were right' had it been the
other way around? I know Chuck and Nisstech would not. I really
thought the Rays inexperience would show and they would let the
division slip away. I also said that I thought the Angels would beat
my Sox. Hopefully I will be wrong about that as well.

I can't speak for Nisstech...but personally I would never have to admit I
was wrong about something I had speculated on simply because I never make
those type of speculations...(it's bad Karma)

Actually, I am hoping the sox can pull off a miracle and eliminate the
Angels so the Rays don't have to travel to the left coast...in route to
their rewards for such a (turn around) season...

I can't speak for others, but I would admit to being wrong.

Good luck against the Angels. They have been solid all year long.

Same to you Bob. Whatever happens at least we have a few more games
to root on our teams. If the Sox do get bumped, I wouldn't mind
seeing the Rays take it. They have been a great story this year.
