Struth! The final round of the 2008 regular season was full of
surprises, not just on the field...but tipping-wise too!

Wigan almost pulled off a win at Knowsley Road for the first time in
how long? Bradford only just managed to escape with the points at
Castleford, while the wonderfully-inconsistent Wire unbelievably
conspired to end up 6th, after seemingly having 4th place all tied up.
Harlequins overcame a Catalans side that seem to have gone past their
sell-by date, and so it was left to Leeds alone to justify their pre-match
tips, though it took them long enough to do so!

So points were hard enough to come by this weekend, when there was so much
up for grabs in the Ladder. Lloyd made the most of his chances,
getting to within two points of Phil L going into the last game, but it was
the scramble for the last three places in the top 6 that was to be the most
exciting, again coming down to the very last game

I`ll post the final Ladder in a few minutes, but for the moment will just
declare that the final ***Tipster of t`Week*** award goes to

IAN STEWART

who amassed 9 pts. Well done Sir, but is it enough to get you into
the top 6 ?????
