I had just said to my son... "Manny owes us one" because
he hadn't done much his last few times at bat. (he was walked
intentionally quite a few times) All of a sudden BOOM!!!
He hit it a good 20 rows into the "All You Can Eat Pavillion".
Sixteen, 450 lb people threw down their Dodger dogs, cheese
fries, nachos, peanuts and cokes and scrambled for the ball.
What a sight that was to see.

Manny is totally incredible. And you know something, he isn't
to shabby a fielder either. He made a few great catches on the
run in the last few games. I get the feeling that he really
likes playing with the guys as much as they like playing along
side Manny. He really is quite a guy.

I hope the Dodgers come up with the bucks to keep him next
year. Jeff Kent will be gone and If they drop Juan Pierre,
that should free up around 20 mil; so it might really be
a possibility. It not, there are going to be a lot of fans
returning the dredlocks they bought from the Dodger store.
The cost of that alone might push Frank Mc Court to come up
with the money to keep Manny. Too bad we have 16 or 17 mil
tied up with Andrew Jones for another season. I can not see
the Dodgers paying Jones that kind of money and not giving
Manny the 20 mil he wants.
