Yes a great shame, but still it's better than last year as it's the only
regatta to have been rained off in the West Mids this year.

And Cambridge Autumn Regatta was abandonned just before the majority
of the finals due to thunder and lightning.......

In today's Times there's a photo which I had to look twice at. The
caption reads;
"Members of Worcester Rowing Club practice on the city's drenched
racecourse"
skimming the paper I initially thought it was Henley and then on
closer inspection realised that the "booms" were in fact the rails on
the horse racing racecourse!

The race course is on the left. This is just two days rain as the regatta
was not called off until Friday afternoon when it was perfectly rowable,
