Slipping in just seconds before the next, "Trevor is Done" thread
starts, allow me to point out this was his Frirst blown Save since
June 1st in San Francisco.

That was 91 days ago.

Trevor had cashed 16 saves in a row since then, and would
have been 17 today if ANYONE except * Doug Eddings * had
been behind the plate.

But I digress....

It's the twilight of his career. The chatter is that the only way he
comes back next year is at a reduced salary. In the long view, the
Padres have to rebuild by developing young players.

This year is different.

The team really needs to rebuild. Even the biggest Padre homer
realizes that.

How many blown calls does Eddings have to tally before the league pays
attention? He should be officiating MLS games with his blown-call
record.
