Hey, we're trying to keep the NL West wide open !
The Friars hung a FIVE RUN 3rd inning on probable Cy Young
award winner Brandon Webb tonight, beating him and Arizona
9-2 in San Diego.
Brian Giles' 3-run homer, and K. Kouzmanoff's 2 -run gapper
opened a 5-0 lead, and Mr. Webb never recovered.
Go win your 20th game somewhere else, fella !

Ah. The role of spoiler once again falls to our Pads. Way to find those
silver linings, Hoov, at least you're looking for the bright side.
I'm not sure if I want our guys to finish in the cellar so we can have a
shot at that SDSU kid or not. If we don't get the chance to draft him, at
least we won't have to watch the FO screw something else up. : )
Go Pads !

I guess all the Dodger fans here, who thought we may have been tanking
intentionally against the D-backs in the recent past, will have to
find another conspiracy theory. While we were beating the D-back,
they were getting beat by the Nationals

"Not in our building" is the phrase that applies here.
No 20th win in our place, Mr. Webb.
