He died yesterday on the Oregon coast. The cause is yet unknown. He
was just 44. :(

He was in The Dalles a few weeks ago on a stop with the Blazers' kids
clinics the team is doing. My son took my granddaughter & said Duck &
Jerome were the coolest guys. After the ex-Blazers spent some time coaching
the kids, they took time for some photos & autographs. Duck spent several
minutes talking with my son about how well his daughter plays & talked about
how important it is for parents to spend time with their kids. My son was
very impressed by Duck's sincere interest in all the kids & how he joked
around with them during the clinic to keep them relaxed & involved.
Really sad to hear he's gone.
Go Blazers !

Horrible. WAY, WAY too young......
Salud Duck.

How much is a Duck-Worth? $16 million for 8 years. Back in 1988 that
was a shocking amount of money to pay an NBA player. In 2008 $16M is
peanuts at the pro level. Kevin Duckworth helped raise the salary bar
for all those who came after him. Rest In Peace...big man.
