As I had said earlier, superstars CAN and WILL become role players if
asked. Role players like Shane Battier and Brad Miller need not
apply. Got plenty of picks from Dwight Howard, Lebron, Bosh and the
like. Plenty of D from the likes of D-Wade, Paul, etc. Superstars
are capable in ALL aspects of the game and that is what makes them
superstars. Kobe, was unselfish and magnificent and has converted
this Kobe hater to a fan because of his unbridled patriotism. Same
with coach K, who can come across as arrogant, but with tears in his
eyes at the end of the gold medal game really showed what he is all
about.

The jaded can claim this was about promoting shoes. I think they
could have sold shoes without the floor burns.

Thank you Team USA for showing how it can and should be done.
