As far as i know there are "no" 20
game winners in the jays rotation at all
and nothing is a lock in mlb ever.

Unlike some posters in here.who take
what guys like bk blather on about this
assumption or that assumption as gospel.

You wouldn't know a good team or their
players if it kicked you in the ass.

Sure maybe the jays won't make post
season,but it's a pleasure to watch guys
like Johny Mac make at least one if not
more game saving plays in almost every
game.Thats certainly has a lot to do
with aj having the best career,finally
over.500 for once with the jays.It should
be noticed that he is looking to go to
a contender.with the likes of nyy or
the bosox,who have wheel barrows of
money to throw his way or to get the
jays to ante up some more long green.

I say let some team in the NL take him
and his bloated salary,the jays are loaded
with pitching talent and still have the Doc
as an ace card.Who has worlds of experience and knowledge to pass on to
his teams pitching staff.And when he retires the jays would be fools if
they did
offer him a job as pitching coach,for as long as he wants to stay in
mlb.The day
after he retired.You can bet every team
in mlb would be clambering to get him
even as a coach.If not for injuries he probably has a couple more cy's
on
his shelf already,It's evident teams like
the tribe are even willing to part with
the likes of the black sabbath,make
them an offer for aj and say a great
utility guy like Scooter for Lee,who
is going no where with the tribe,who
has had a fire sale going since may.

I was skeptical as any when they fired
gibby and rehired cito,what a changed
team since the break.Cito is no jeanie
out of a lamp,but he has let guys like
Sir John A,Lind and others play every
day and they have come through big
time.Even Johny Mac who has always
been know to have a limp bat,has become
a decent hitter and the best SS in the
Al if not all of mlb.He as also benched
guys like Eckstien and other golden boys
jp had picked up,sure he was an mvp,but
is no better than a utility guy at best any
more.And given guys like Lind a reason to
shine.they get a guy like Shanon Stewart
way past his prime,and then fire him the
day after he finishes his rehab,,,go figure.

The team is finally in the hands of a guy
who knows how to win and get the most
out of his players,and kicked jp out of
dugout,the only down fall to that is jp
will look like a genius come season end
and will probably stay around as long as
the other twit goofy godfrey has his say.

Goofrey is more concerned with putting
butts in over priced seats and getting
an nfl franchise in Toronto.So they grab
an ageing but sure hall of famer like Frank
and dump Delgado for basically nothing.

Btw could someone please tell me why
Cito was never given another job in mlb
after his great success with the jays and
who was the genius that fired him,just
because he wanted to run the team his way and the brass hats did not
like that,

I asked the question theoretically. I was not being negative. If they both
